3MA is Mississippi's largest 501(c)(6) non-profit organization representing the interests of the medical cannabis community. Comprised of businesses licensed under the MMCP and those that offer ancillary services for cannabis, 3MA fights on behalf of the cannabis industry as a whole — working to broaden access for patients, remove barriers for operators, and promote cannabis as medicine.
Advocating for Change
3MA was founded in 2018 by advocates and stakeholders campaigning for Initiative 65, Mississippi's first Medical Cannabis Act, passed by public initiative in 2020. Since the beginning, 3MA has been the spearhead for legislative progress on medical cannabis — serving as the "Voice of the Medical Cannabis Industry" at the state capitol.
Legislative Action
3MA is the leading organization responsible for all major medical cannabis bills introduced in Mississippi. Each year, our government relations team drafts legislation based directly on member feedback — ensuring the industry's voice shapes the law.
