Steps to Obtain your Medical Cannabis Card
  •  Visit a Licensed Medical Professional: Visit a physician, physician’s assistant, nurse practitioner, or optometrist participating in the medical cannabis program for an evaluation.
See the map below to find registered practitioners in your area
  • Certification and Registration: If you have a qualifying medical condition (see list of medical conditions here for an up-to-date list of qualifying conditions), the medical professional will certify and register you with the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program.
Don’t know if you qualify, or having issues obtaining your medical records? email us for assistance.
  • Duplicate Registration Process: Patients also need to register online with the Mississippi Department of Health MS DoH Licensing Portal-https://ms-doh-public.nls.egov.com/login. The MSDH will apply doctor’s certification to the patient’s account for approval.
Once the MSDH processes your applications, you will receive an email to the email address on your DoH application letting you know the status of your application (Approved/Denied).
